Dr. Khoa Huynh has over 30 years of experience in product and cloud service development, testing, performance analysis, and customer support. Khoa joined IBM in 1989 where he first worked on OS/2 and Linux operating systems, and is currently an IBM Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM) in the IBM Watson Cloud division. His current areas of interest include artificial intelligence, cognitive workloads, and how public clouds can best support those workloads. Prior to joining IBM, Khoa worked on optimizing the real-time performance of the MPX operating system, as well as real-time processor architectures, at Gould System Engineering Laboratories (SEL). Khoa holds a doctorate degree in Computer Science. He has received numerous patents and IBM technical achievement awards. Khoa has presented his work at the 2015 CloudOpen, 2013 CloudOpen, 2012 CloudOpen, 2011 LinuxCon, and 2010 Linux Plumber conferences.
